Pups & Pinot Winery Map

Use the Pups & Pinot map to plan out your wine routes this summer!

Pups & Pinot Petiquette

We are so grateful that over 35 wineries across Ontario are willing to have us visit with our pups all summer long. Let’s make sure we are all demonstrating our best petiquette when visiting wineries. What does petiquette look like?

  • Keep your dog on a 6 ft (or less) leash at all times!

  • Ask for permission - before on-leash greetings, before saying hi to another dog, before entering a dog friendly space!

  • Arrive prepared - don’t forget the essentials - your Pups & Pinot collapsible water bowl, poop bags, etc.

  • Stay in tune with your pup - keep an eye on their body language to make sure they are having a fun & relaxing visit.

  • Take breaks - is your pup having a moment? Are they barking or whining? Maybe it’s time to hit pause and go for a quick stroll to reset!

  • Assess Readiness - Not all dogs are ready to visit a busy, dog friendly place. Take baby steps and make sure your dog is ready to be in a stimulating environment.

  • Respect Service Dogs - Respect the space of service dogs, and do not interfere with dogs who are working and in training. Service dogs and their handlers have a right to safely access public spaces.

  • Avoid Accidents - Give your dog a chance to do their business before you enter a dog friendly space in a suitable area. If an accident happens, notify staff so it can be cleaned up.
